The central part of the reverse features a relief image of a soldier running with a weapon against a background of naval warships. Below are two horizontal lines of text: 'TEN' and 'DOLLARS', translating from English as 'ten dollars'.
  • Obverse
The central part depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, which is a round disc with an angel framed by two interlocking chains. Along the outer edge of the disc, at the top, is the name of the state in English 'REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS', and at the bottom—the motto in Marshallese 'JEPILPILIN KE EJUKAAN', translating to 'Accomplishment Through Joint Effort'. Two rays emanate upward from the angel's head, between which is a twenty-four-pointed star. Above the angel's wings, on the right, is a fishing net, and on the left, a shell tool. Below the wings: on the right, a canoe; on the left, coconut palms. Beneath the angel is an image of a traditional Marshallese navigational chart in perspective, below which is the inscription on a ribbon 'Seal', translating from English as 'Seal'. Below the outer chain, to the left of the disc, is the $10 sign—'ten dollars', and to the right, the mintage year '1994'.
