In the center, the stylized coat of arms of Finland: a heraldic crowned lion facing left, standing on a sabre with its hind legs, its right foreleg replaced by an armored hand holding a raised sword, surrounded by nine rosettes. To the right of the image, below the lower rosette, the Latin letter 'M' - the mint master's mark for Raimo Tapio Makkonen. Along the edge of the coin on the right side, the country name 'Finland' in Finnish and Swedish: 'SUOMI FINLAND'.
