Reverse
At the top is the crown of the Qajar dynasty. In the central part is a depiction of a human face, from which rays emanate in all directions. Along the left arc of the coin's edge is an olive branch, on the right an oak branch; they cross at the bottom and are tied with a bow.
Obverse
On the left is an olive branch, on the right an oak branch. Between them are inscriptions in Persian: at the top 'رایج ایران' - 'UNITED IRAN', at the bottom the denomination 12 dinars: '۱۲ دینار'. At the top is the crown of the Qajar dynasty.
