    In the central part, an antique depiction of the globe. Around the circumference, a Latin inscription: «CIRCUMIT ORBEM PECÚNIA TOTUM», which translates to «Money rules the world». The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.

    In the central part, an «X» - the Roman numeral 10, with a four-petaled flower on each side, and the year 1753 below. All of this is enclosed within a circle of dots. Above the numeral is the crown of the Portuguese kings. To the right, bottom, and left along the edge is a Latin text: «IOSEPHUS I D G REX P ET D GUIN», the title of King Joseph I the Reformer of Portugal. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
