    In the central part, an antique depiction of the globe. Around the circumference, a Latin inscription: «CIRCUMIT ORBEM PECÚNIA TOTUM», translated as: «Money rules the world». The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
  • Obverse
    In the central part, «XX» - the Roman numeral 20, with a three four-petaled flower depicted to the left, right, and between the numerals. Below it is the year 1757 with dots on either side. All of this is enclosed within a circle of dots. Above the numeral is the crown of the Portuguese kings. To the right, bottom, and left along the edge is a Latin text: «IOSEPHUS I D G REX P ET D GUINEA», the title of King Joseph I the Reformer of Portugal. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
