In the central part, framed by a circle of dots, is a two-line inscription - '25 cents'. Along the left rim, the word 'BRITISH', along the right - 'HONDURAS', and at the bottom - the mint year framed by dots: '∙1965∙'. The words and year are placed within sections separated by vignettes. All inscriptions are in English. The edge of the coin features denticulated elements.
Obverse
In the center is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. Along the rim with raised denticulated elements, on the right, bottom, and left, is the inscription 'QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND' in English.
