In the central part, within a wreath, a two-line inscription in French at the top: "UN / DÉCIME.", which translates as "one decime". Below it is the year of issue "1814". At the bottom, the mintmark for Strasbourg — "BB".
Obverse
Around the edge of the coin are decorative raised dots. In the central part, within a closed circular wreath, is the monogram of King Louis XVIII of France, consisting of a crowned letter "L" surrounded on three sides by fleur-de-lis symbols.
