    The central part features a triple right-facing portrait of Prince Charles and his two sons – William Arthur Philip Louis and Henry Charles Albert David. Below the image are the Latin letters 'PM'. At the bottom, the English text in two lines reads '1 CROWN'.

    Centered is a right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley – 'IRB'. Around the circumference along the rim are inscriptions in English: on the left the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II', on the right the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN' and the year of minting '2008'. At the beginning of each inscription is the heraldic symbol of the Isle of Man – a triskelion. Along the rim are decorative raised denticles.
