Below the book, the inscription: '£1' - one pound. In the upper part, along the edge of the coin, text in Greek: 'ΣYHOΝKH ΤΗΣ ΡΩΜΗΣ - 50 ΧΡΟΝΙΑ', below along the rim an inscription in Turkish: 'ROMA ANLAŞMASI - 50 YILI', which translate as: '50th Anniversary of the Signing of the Treaty of Rome'.
Obverse
In the central part, the coat of arms of the Republic of Cyprus. Around the circumference, inscriptions: 'CYPRUS.ΚΥΠΡΟΣ.KIBRIS' - the name of the state in English, Greek, and Turkish. In the lower part, along the edge of the coin, the year of minting 2007.
