To the left, near the feet, three lines of a running track; to the left center, the inscription '5 €' (5 Euro). Along the edge of the coin, the country name in two languages: at the top in Finnish 'SUOMI', on the right in Swedish 'FINLAND'. At the lower right, the Latin letter 'K' – the artist's mark for Tapio Kettunen.
