Below the hole, the inscription in two lines in English 'FIVE CENTS', and below that the mint mark: "KN" - King's Norton Metal, Birmingham. To the right, bottom, and left along the denticulated rim, the title and name of the monarch in English: QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND.
