    In the central part, the Wright Brothers' Flyer I biplane is depicted facing left. At the top center is the horizontal English text 'WRIGHT BROTHERS', above it a cloud, and below in the cloud the year of the Flyer's first flight '1903'. Along the edge of the coin are English inscriptions in an arc: at the top 'MAN IN FLIGHT', at the bottom in two lines - '1 CROWN'.
  • Obverse
    In the center is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Raphael David Maklouf - 'RDM', below the truncation the Latin letters 'PM' - the mintmark of the Pobjoy Mint, Surrey, United Kingdom. Around the circumference along the rim are English inscriptions: on the left the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II', on the right the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN' and the year of issue '1995'. Along the rim are decorative raised denticles.
