Along the upper edge of the coin from left to right is the Spanish inscription: "ECONOMIA ES RIQUEZA" - "ECONOMY IS WEALTH", below it is the year of issue: "1904".

    In the upper part, along the edge of the coin, is the country name in Spanish: "REPUBLICA DE CHILE" - "REPUBLIC OF CHILE". In the central part is the left-facing profile of a young woman, representing Liberty.
