    In the central part, the horizontal text in English '2 EURO'. The lettering is set against a background map of the European continent. Above and below the map are six lines with five-pointed stars. Under the letter 'O' are the crossed initials of the designer Luc Luycx, the Latin letters 'LL'.
  • Obverse
    The inner disc is filled with a stylized stone pattern, in which a heart-shaped hole is carved, with a human figure standing in its center. Below the heart, an angled inscription in Finnish 'HUMAN RIGHTS'. Above, the year of minting '2008', below, the Latin letters of the issuing state 'FI' (Finland), the designer's mark Timo Koivuranta – 'K' and the mint mark – a cornucopia. Twelve five-pointed stars are evenly distributed along the edge of the coin.
