To the left, above and below along the rim, against a background of four parallel stripes, are inscriptions in English: 'BEIJING 2008. LONDON 2012', which translates to: 'Beijing 2008 – London 2012'.

    In the central part, within a circle of silver-colored metal, is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II. Around the edge of the coin are inscriptions in English: 'ELIZABETH II. DEI. GRA.
