The center of the reverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle, both heads of which bear crowns. A third, larger crown is placed above and between them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow — a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). The shield is surrounded by the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. In its right talon the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left an orb. Around the eagle, facing inward, is the inscription: IСАМОДЕРЖ: ВСЕРОСIИСКIИ* 1729
  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the right-facing profile of Peter II. Above the head is a floral rosette. Around the portrait is the inscription: ПЕТРЪ: II: ИМПЕРАТОРЪ
