    The central part of the reverse features a relief design of two firefighters extinguishing a blaze after an air raid. The left firefighter's sleeve bears the English inscription: 'THE BLITZ'. Along the lower edge is the English inscription: '1 CROWN', framed by two olive branches, with 'THE WORLD AT WAR' above.
  • Obverse
    The central part features the right-facing profile of Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. In the neck truncation are the letters 'PM' - the mintmark of the Pobjoy Mint, Tadworth. To the left along the edge is the English text: 'ELIZABETH II', to the right - the country name and year of issue: 'GIBRALTAR 1999'. The coin's rim features raised elements in the form of denticles.
