    Central hole. Around it, the inscription 'ONE TENTH OF A PENNY' in English above and in Arabic 'عُشِر الپَنّي' below. Along the rim, the inscription 'GEORGIVS V' on the left and 'REX ET IND: IMP:' on the right, with a stylized ornament below each part. A crown – symbol of the British Empire – is above. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
