In the central part is a double left-facing profile portrait of Prince Andrew and Miss Sarah Ferguson. Around the edge of the coin is a chain-like pattern, with the heraldic symbol of the island above. Along the pattern are inscriptions in English: from left to right 'THE WEDDING OF H.R.H.THE PRINCE ANDREW & MISS SARAH FERGUSON', at the bottom - 'ONE CROWN', flanked on both sides by a dot.
Obverse
In the center is a right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Raphael David Maklouf - 'RDM'. Below the truncation are the Latin letters 'PM' - the mint mark of the Pobjoy Mint, Surrey, United Kingdom. Along the rim are inscriptions in English: on the left the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN', on the right the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II', at the bottom the year of issue '1982'. Around the circumference along the rim are decorative raised denticles.
