    The central part of the reverse features a relief design of a free kick: a footballer kicks the ball from the penalty line towards the goal of the opposing team, defended by a goalkeeper. To the left of the goal is the fineness mark for the copper-nickel alloy '999 CuNi'. Along the upper edge of the coin is an inscription in Spanish: 'CAMPEONATÓ MUNDIAL DE FUTBOL USA 1994' (World Cup USA 1994). The coin's edge is reeded.

    The coat of arms of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea is positioned in the center. It features a heraldic shield depicting a silk-cotton tree (bombax).
