    The central part of the reverse features relief images: a seed-shaped glider by Franz Xaver Wels (top view), above it a 'Taube' (Dove) airplane by aircraft designer Igo Etrich flying to the right, and below, Karl Illner waving from the cockpit of an airplane facing left. Below, near the rim, is a facsimile signature of Igo Etrich and the artist Thomas Pesendorfer's mark - 'TP'. In the upper part, along the curve of the coin's edge, is the German text 'LUFTFAHRT IN ÖSTERREICH' (Aviation in Austria).

    The center depicts a view of the instrument panel of a modern passenger aircraft. Along the rim are inscriptions in German: at the top the country name 'REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH' (Republic of Austria), at the bottom the inscription '25 EURO' (25 Euro), and on the right the year of issue '2007'.
