    The central part features the right-facing profile of King George I of Great Britain. Around the rim, from left to right, runs the Latin inscription: 'GEORGIUS DEI GRATIA REX' - George, by the Grace of God, King. The edge of the coin has relief elements in the form of teeth (denticles).
