    In the central part is a six-pointed Star of David, inside which is a hole. Along the upper edge of the coin from left to right is the English text: BRITISH WEST AFRICA. Below is the year of issue: "1932". The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of denticles.
  • Obverse
    At the top is the Crown of the British Empire. In the center is a hole. To the left and right along the rim is the inscription: "EDWARDVS VIII REX ET IND: IMP:", which translates from Latin as: "EDWARD VIII KING AND EMPEROR OF INDIA". Around the hole is the denomination: to the left, top, and right in English - "ONE HALF PENNY", below - in Arabic with diacritics: "دصف ثني". The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
