Reverse At the top - the year of issue: "1719". In the center is a crowned lion holding two orbs. To the right, below, and to the left along the rim is the country's motto in Latin: "VTRUNQ·VIRT·PROTEGO". The rim is decorated with raised denticles.
Obverse In the center - the country's coat of arms in the form of a shield, surmounted by a crown. To its left - the mint mark of Segovia - an aqueduct, to the right - the Roman numeral 4: "IIII". In the lower part, along the curve of the rim, is an inscription in Latin: "PHILIP·V·D·G·HISPAN·REX" - "PHILIP V BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF SPAIN".
