In the central part is the coat of arms of the Lviv University of Trade and Economics. To its left and right are the numbers: 18 and 16 respectively, indicating the year of the university's foundation: 1816. Along the upper edge of the coin from left to right is the inscription in Ukrainian: «ЛЬВІВСЬКИЙ ТОРГОВЕЛЬНО-ЕКОНОМІЧНИЙ УНІВЕРСИТЕТ» - Lviv University of Trade and Economics. The coin's rim features raised elements in the form of dots.
Obverse
In the central part is an image of the Lviv University of Trade and Economics. Below it is a two-line inscription in Ukrainian: «ДВІ ГРИВНІ» - two hryvnias and the mintmark of the Kyiv Mint. Above it are the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the name of the country in Ukrainian: «УКРАЇНА» - Ukraine. Near the left rim is the year of issue: 2016, near the right rim is the inscription in Ukrainian: «200 РОКІВ» - 200 years.
