    In the central part, within a circle of yellow metal, is an image of the buhai musical instrument, with its name in Ukrainian, "БУГАЙ" (buhai), to the right. A floral ornament is depicted within the surrounding ring of silvery metal.

    The field is divided by four parallel semicircles of varying diameters. In the central part, within a circle of yellow metal, is a floral ornament, below which is the year of mintage, 2007. In the upper part, along the edge of the coin, are the State Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the inscription in Ukrainian: "НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ" (National Bank of Ukraine). At the bottom are the mint mark of the Kyiv Mint and the inscription: "5 ГРИВЕНЬ" (5 Hryvnias).
