Reverse
Two olive branches are depicted along the arcs of the left and right edges of the coin. Between them is the inscription '25 piastres', with the top inscription in Arabic: '٢٥ قرش', and the bottom in English: 'PIASTRES 25'. Decorative elements in the form of dots are placed along the rim.
Obverse
A Lebanese cedar is depicted at the top. Below it is the inscription 'BANK OF LEBANON' in two lines, with the top line in Arabic: 'مصرف لبنان', and the bottom in French: 'BANQUE DU LIBAN'. At the bottom is the year of minting, with the left side in Western Arabic numerals: '1980', and the right side in Eastern Arabic numerals: '١٩٨٠'. Decorative raised dots are placed along the rim.
