  • Obverse
    Centered is a frontal, faceless hockey player awaiting a face-off. Along the rim are inscriptions: the name of the state 'Finland' on the left in Finnish 'SUOMI', on the right in Swedish 'FINLAND'. At the bottom is the inscription in Finnish '5 EURO' (5 Euro). Above the country name in Swedish is the heraldic lion in a circle – the mintmark of the Mint of Finland.
