In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of a tabua - a sperm whale tooth on a chain. Above it is the number: "20", below - the inscription for cents in English: "CENTS". The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of denticles.
Obverse
In the central part is a right-facing profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. Below the neck truncation are the designer's initials, Raphael David Maklouf: "RDM". In the left part, along the arc of the coin's edge, is text in English: "ELIZABETH II". On the right is the country name Fiji and the year of minting in English: "FIJI 1995".
