In the central part is the coat of arms of the Lubusz Voivodeship against a background of relief depicting clouds. Along the rim at the bottom and top is the text: 'LUBUSKIE' and 'WOIEWÓDZTWO' respectively, which translate from Polish as: Lubusz Voivodeship.
Obverse
In the central part is an image of the eagle - the coat of arms of Poland - against a map of the republic. Below it is an inscription in Polish: 'zł 2 zł' - 2 zlotych. To the left, top, and right along the rim are the country name in Polish and the year of mintage: 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 2004' - Republic of Poland 2004.
