Obverse
On the matte field of the inner disc, on the right side, are depicted connected wooden parts. To the right, near the edge of the inner disc, is the mint year '2014' horizontally, below it the Latin letters of the issuing state 'FI' (Finland) and a heraldic lion in a circle - the mintmark of the Finnish Mint. On the right, inscriptions form a circle: in the upper part of the circle, the name of the Finnish designer in Finnish 'ILMARI TAPIOVAARA', in the lower part the years of his life '1914-1999'.
