Central composition: depiction of a Jewish woman against a brick wall and a stylized Star of David. In the background of the composition, an inscription in Polish: «65. ROCZNICA» - 65th Anniversary. Along the upper rim of the coin from left to right runs the text in Polish: «POWSTANIA W GETCIE WARSZAWSKIM» - Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
Obverse
Central part features the eagle - the coat of arms of the Republic of Poland, with the digits 20 and 08 to its left and right respectively, denoting the year of issue: 2008. Below the eagle's left talon is the letter «W» - the mintmark of the Warsaw Mint. To the left, top, and right along the rim is the country name in Polish: «RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA» - Republic of Poland. In the lower part, along the rim, is the inscription in Polish: «ZŁ 2 ZŁ» - 2 Zlotych, framed by twelve pearls.
