In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the Golden Temple. Below it is the year of issue: "2008" and the Hyderabad mint mark: "*". Along the upper edge of the coin is the inscription: "THIRD CENTURY GUR-TA GAADDI", on the right in Latin script: "TER-CENTENARY OF GUR-TA-GADDI", on the left in Nagari script: "गुर - ता - गददी की त्रि शताब्दी".
Obverse
In the central part is an image of the Lion Capital, the emblem of India, with a Hindi inscription below it. Along the upper edge of the coin is the text "INDIA", on the left in a local Indian script: "भारत", on the right in English: "INDIA". At the bottom is the numeral: "10". To the left of it is the inscription "RUPEE" in Hindi: "रूपये", to the right - in English: "RUPEES".
