In the central part, a three-line inscription in Arabic: "مدة محمد الصادق بتونس" - "MOHAMMED AL-SADEQ KING OF TUNISIA", below - the year of minting: "١٢٨٣" - 1283 AH (Hijri year) or 1865 AD (Gregorian). Along the arc of the left and right edges of the coin are two olive branches, which cross at the bottom and are tied with a bow.
Obverse
In the central part, a three-line inscription in Arabic: "السلطان عبد العزيز خان" - "KHAN-SULTAN ABDUL AZIZ". To the left and right along the rim are two laurel branches, which cross at the bottom and are tied with a bow.
