In the central part, there is a three-line inscription: 2 MARKKAA 1906. Along the left and right edges of the coin is a wreath of oak branches, which do not touch at the top. At the base, the branches are tied with a ribbon forming a double bow. The rim of the coin is decorated with raised denticles.
  • Obverse
In the central part is depicted the full Coat of Arms of the Grand Duchy of Finland — a double-headed eagle, its heads crowned with two crowns, and a third, larger crown above them, all connected by the ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew. On the eagle's breast is a shield with the titular coat of arms of the Grand Prince of Finland, crowned with a princely crown. Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left — an orb. Under the left talon is the mark of the Director of the Helsinki Mint — the letter 'L' (Johan Conrad Lihr). Around the central image is a beaded circle. Outside the circle is the text: 47.24 KAPPALETTA NAULASTA SELWÄÄ HOPEATA, divided at the top by a six-petaled flower. The rim is decorated with denticles pointing towards the center.
