    Along the lower edge arc is the name of Abulkhair Khan in Kazakh "ӘБІЛҚАЙЫР ХАН", with the year of issue "2016" on the left, both sides highlighted with national ornaments. The central part features a fragment of the obverse of the 1993 50 tenge banknote, which bears the portrait of the Khan.

    Along the rim is the country name: on the left in Kazakh "KAZAKSTAN RESPUBLIKASY", on the right in Russian "RESPUBLIKA KAZAKHSTAN". The central part features the national coat of arms: a shanyrak (the upper domed part of a yurt) in the form of a crosspiece inscribed in a circle, from which support rays radiate, flanked by mythical winged horses, tulpars. Above, between the wings, is a five-pointed star; below is the country name "KAZAKSTAN". Above the coat of arms is the logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan; to the left and right of the coat of arms is a fragment of a national ornament in mirror image. Below the coat of arms is the large numeral 100, and below that the inscription "TENGE", highlighted with relief elements in the form of dots.
