Obverse
In the central part, the coat of arms of Sudan is depicted - an eagle facing right. Two wheat ears are along the rim to the left and right. At bottom - year of minting in the Muslim calendar: "١٣٩٦" - "1396" and Gregorian: "١٩٧٦" - "1976". Decorative raised teeth are placed along the edge of the rim.
