Reverse The center of the reverse is occupied by a double-headed eagle. Both of its heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is positioned above and between the heads. On the eagle's breast, beneath a crown and canopy, is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland (a crowned single-headed eagle). In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter and a sword, and in its left, an orb. Below each talon are the initials 'I•' and 'B•', indicating the mintmaster Jakub Benik (J. Benik). Above the eagle's heads is the year of mintage '1827', divided by the large crown. Below the eagle is the text: 10 ZŁOTYCH POLSKICH (10 Polish zlotych). Along the edge arc is the circular inscription: MIKOŁAY I. CES• WSZ• ROSSYI KRÓL POLSKI PANUJĄCY (Nicholas I Emperor of all Russia, King of Poland, Reigning). The rim is decorated with denticles.
Obverse The center of the obverse features the right-facing profile of Russian Emperor Alexander I wearing a laurel wreath. In the upper part of the coin is a six-pointed star, visually marking the start of the circular inscription: ALEXANDER I. CES•ROS•WSKRZESICIEL KRÓL•POLS•1815 (Translation: 'Alexander I Emperor of Russia, Restorer of the Kingdom of Poland 1815'). The rim is decorated with short denticles.
