    In the upper part, a two-line inscription 'L. 200' (200 lire). In the lower part: a left hand facing right is depicted, holding coinage tongs, blanks lie on a press, to the right a three-line inscription 'PRIMA MONETA 1864' (First Coin 1864). Above the image, the Rome mint mark 'R'. Along the edge arc of the coin are the surnames: on the left, the artist Francisco Aparicio Sanchez - 'Aparicio', on the right the engraver Uliana Pernazza 'Pernazza inc'. All inscriptions are in Italian.
  • Obverse
    In the center, a part of the coat of arms of San Marino is depicted: three towers on the peaks of Mount Titano, each tower topped with an ostrich feather, to the left the year of issue '1991'. Around the circumference along the rim, the country name in Italian 'REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO' (Republic of San Marino).
