    The central part depicts Greeks killing the guards at the city gates, with the Trojan Horse above. On the left is a full-length figure of the Greek warrior Achilles; on the right is his name in English, 'ACHILLES', and the year 'C.1200 BC'. Below it are the Latin letters 'PM'. Around the rim are inscriptions in English: at the top - 'THE TROJAN WAR', at the bottom in two lines - '1 CROWN', with semicircular laurel branches to the right and left.

    The center features a right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom wearing a crown. In the truncation of the portrait are the initials of the British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley - 'IRB'. Around the edge are inscriptions in English: on the left, the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II'; on the right, the name of the British Crown Dependency 'ISLE OF MAN' and the year of issue '2006'. At the beginning of each inscription is the heraldic symbol of the Isle of Man - a triskelion. The rim features decorative raised denticles.
