In the lower part, along the arc of the coin's edge, are depicted oak and laurel leaves tied together with a ribbon. In the central part is the Coat of Arms of Mexico: an eagle perched on a cactus, grasping a snake. In the upper part, along the arc of the coin's edge, is text in Spanish: "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS" - "UNITED MEXICAN STATES".
