    In the central part are three male profiles facing right. Below the portraits is the mint mark of the Mexico City Mint (Mexico): Casa de Moneda de México. Along the lower edge are inscriptions in Spanish: «BONO. ESPAILLAT. ROJAS» - the names of Senator Pedro Francisco Bono and Presidents Ulises Francisco Espaillat and Benigno Filomeno de Rojas. In the upper part, along the edge of the coin, is the text in Spanish: «CUNA DE LOS DERECHOS HUMANOS», which translates as: «Cradle of Human Rights». The inscriptions are separated by four five-pointed stars. The coin's edge features decorative elements in the form of dots.
