    The central part depicts the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown. On the left side, along the arc of the coin's edge, is the monarch's name 'ELIZABETH II'. On the right side are the colony's name 'FIJI' and the year of minting '1980'.
