    In the central part - a large numeral 5: "٥" and the inscription: "عشر القرش", which translates from Ottoman Turkish as: "5/10 QIRSH". Below - the year of accession to the throne of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed V in Indo-Arabic numerals: "۱۳۲۷" - 1327 AH (Islamic calendar) or 1909 AD (Gregorian). Along the edge arc, inscription in Ottoman Turkish: "ضرب في مصر" - "STRUCK IN EGYPT".
  • Obverse
    In the central part - a tughra, to its right is depicted a rose. Below - an inscription in Ottoman Turkish: "٦ سنة", which translates as: "6TH YEAR". Along the edges of the rim is a decorative raised pattern of leaves and flowers.
