The center is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle with wings spread, both heads wearing crowns, with a larger third crown above and between the heads. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Under the right talon is the letter "M", under the left — the letter "D". The mintmark of the Kadashevsky Mint. Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the left-facing profile of Peter I.
