    Central hole, with relief patterns on both sides; above, a crown - symbol of the British Empire. Below the hole, a two-line inscription in English 'FIVE CENTS'. Along the coin's edge, text split into two parts in Latin 'GEORGE V KING AND EMPEROR OF INDIA': left, the monarch's name 'GEORGIVS V', right, the title 'REX ET IND: IMP:'. Below, the Latin letter 'K' - mintmark of the Birmingham Mint.
