Reverse

Along the upper edge of the coin, from left to right, is the inscription: 'BRITANNIAR: REX FID: DEF:', which translates from English as: 'King of the Britains, Defender of the Faith'. The rim of the coin has decorative elements in the form of denticles.

The central part features a left-facing profile portrait of King George IV. The rim of the coin has decorative elements in the form of denticles and inscriptions: on the left, top, and right: 'GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA', which translates from English as 'George IV, by the Grace of God'; at the bottom, separated by dots, is the mint year 1825.
