At the top — buildings of the State Savings Banks Administration and the Saint Petersburg Loan Treasury, above them on a ribbon the text: SANKT-PETERBURG. At the bottom — the emblem of Russian savings banks (a beehive surrounded by flying bees and a cornucopia with coins). In the central part of a characteristic dotted circle is a double-headed eagle, and below it is the name of the coin's issuer 'BANK ROSSII' (BANK OF RUSSIA).
