    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of a rhinoceros. To its right is a large numeral 10. Below is the inscription 'TEN KWACHA'.
  • Obverse
    In the upper part, following the curve of the coin's edge, is the English text 'ZAMBIA' — the name of the Republic of Zambia. Below is the year of minting '1992'. In the central part is the state coat of arms of Zambia. The shield features 6 wavy vertical bars; above the shield are crossed a pickaxe and a hoe; above them is an eagle with spread wings looking back. The shield is supported on both sides by a man and a woman standing on a grassy base. On the ribbon is the motto 'One Zambia One Nation'.
