The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of dentils.

In the central part, within a circle of dots, the right-facing profile of Edward VII, King of Great Britain and Ireland. From left to right along the edge, text in Latin: 'EDWARDVS VII DEI GRATIA REX IMPERATOR' - Edward VII, by the Grace of God, King and Emperor. Along the rim are raised denticulated elements.
